With the holidays we have watched a few movies...
This was a "chick flick" and hunny bunny watched it with me and Boo. It was funny and sad...i loved how it was a 100% woman movie. *grin*

This was a really good movie. It was intense at times and boy did i dislike "her". *grin*

Ohhhhh...i just heard some real sad news. Film legend Charlton Heston dead at 84! I was so sad when I read this!! I loved watching his movies...The Ten Commandments (every Easter when I was growing up we would watch this!!), Planet of the Apes, Ben Hur (who could ever forget the chariot race??) and the list goes on... And he was so handsome! I had a small crush on him when I was younger (he was sooo handsome as the young Moses!!!). And even though it was not the greatest I was in awe of him when I went to see Earthquake! He was my hero!!! He is one of those movie figures I grew up with and it is sad to know he is gone. *sighy*

Today is the middle of the week...2 more days left in the work week...and I am sooo glad! Tomorrow is a huge day full of meetings/trainings and will go all day and into the night so it will be interesting to see how I feel when it is over!! Since I have such an odd schedule this week I was able to spend some time with the girls and Reggie. It was fun!! We went to see Horton Hears A Who! (AWESOME MOVIE!!!). I cried during the part where the Who's were yelling that they were "were here...were here!!". It was sooooo emotional and wonderful!!! My daughter was telling me about some of the meaning behind the movie and I could so see them and more. I recommend this movie to everyone and we have decided to buy some of his books (the girls own some but they are put away and I am being selfish and want my own copies...teeehehehe). All four of us loved this movie and we plan to own it when it comes out!!! I am telling you see it if you can!!! You will not regret it!!! After the movie we went to dinner at Bennigan's and had a good time!!! It was a great family day!!!

DID I SAY MOVIE MONTH???

This was a real good movie! My daughter had been wanting to watch it so we both stood up and watched it. I was a little freaked out because I was not sure how it would end (the director is famous for interesting endings!!). Anyway...two thumbs up!!! I loved the story line and the story between the main characters was great!! I LOVE the way I hated her when she was beating him up and then found myself liking her and yes, even hoping they would end up together in the end!!! I know I am soooo romantic...hehehehehe. Well...I would see this again and the writing was real good and kept you in suspense (was he or was he not???). See if if you get the chance!!

Another one!!!!

OK...I love Jodie Foster and when I saw the previews I sooo wanted to see this movie. Well..I was unable to get to the theatre but I am sooo glad I saw in last night!! (It was a good balance after my chick flick movie...teeehehehehe) This was a "Chick kicks butt" movie and wow!! The ending was incredible (my hunny bunny was even shocked!!). It was sad and I was moved at how much an experience can change your life forever!! I would give it 2 thumbs up and I have to say I am soooo glad her hand shook at the end!!!!
MOVIE MONTH!!!

Wow I have been watching lots of movies at home this month (and last). I think it started when I was sick and had nothing else to do (sighy). Last night we were suppose to celebrate my husbands birthday...but, he had to work late so it did not go as planned. We did go to eat and he kept saying it was his birthday party but it was not (how can you have a party without cake and presents???). ANYWAY....i am hoping we can redo this next week....who knows (especially with his schedule!).
Speaking of sick (ok, it was a few lines ago..) my baby girl is getting sick again (she is the one who brought the darn thing into the house over a month ago!!! AAAUUUGGHHH!!!). She looks so miserable! They were suppose to go tubing this morning but had to cancel which worked out for Gigi (I think she would have been miserable!).
Well...back to my movies...here are a few i have seen...

This was a cute movie. I loved the "fish" dinner part. Teeehehehehe... Did anyone notice the orange crocks he wore in the movie (cute!!!). Overall good movie to watch and I would give it a thumbs up!!! (it is a great movie to watch when you are not feeling good!!)

Last night the girls treated us to a movie (after a wonderful dinner of rigatoni and yummy garlic bread at my parent house...mmmmmmmm). We went to see ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS. We have been wanting to see it and i had the night off so it was a good time to go. It was soooooo cute! I had heard it was good and boy was everyone correct. It is a great movie and i recommend it to anyone who has kids (teenagers included). It is a fun family movie. I love all the of the chipmunks but I think my favorite is Theodore (don't tell Alvin or Simon). His green eyes are soooo cute (and they match his sweater!!!) and he has not lost his baby fat (according to Theodore himself!) which makes him darling! I also love that he wants a family so bad! Cute...Cute...Cute!!! Go see it if you get the chance (you will not be sorry!).

Today we participated in one of our Christmas traditions.....A MOVIE!!!

Since the girls have been young we have gone to the movies during the holiday season. We love it when a Disney movie comes out at this time of year!! It's fun to watch a movie with hunny bunny and the girls and if is has a Christmas theme it gets in a real Christmas mood. This year we decided to go see ENCHANTED. It is a story of a Prince and Princess who are forced to go to the "real" world. It was sooooooooooooo cute and we loved Peep!!!! And the witch was great!!! She was kind of spooky as the old witch (her teeth were yucky and her wart...EWWWWWW!) It is a chick flick but hunny bunny enjoyed it (teeehehehehe). We also saw some good previews so we are excited about some upcoming movies.

My hunny bunny and i watched "Facing the Giants" yesterday (my oldest was at a Panic at the Disco concert and my baby was with her Grandparents so we had the house to ourselves). I know...we decided to watch a movie....(could it be age....teeehehehe). Well, I think we made a great decision because the movie was incredible. I cried and cried through the whole movie...but it was sooooo good! I would recommend it to everyone. It is about a high school coach who is struggling with a loosing team and personal things in his life. It is about seeing God work and bless! It is about seeing God do the impossible!!! Ohhh...i have to go out and by this movie...it is that good! I would say more but I don't want to ruin it (trust me and see it!!). The one thing I took from the movie (besides a bunch of wet Kleenex....eeeewwwww!) is that GOD can do ANYTHING and NOTHING is impossible!!!! What a blessing!

Today we went to the movies with my parents. The girls and my Mom went to see HairSpray. This will make the 2nd time for the girls (we all loved it the first time!). My Dad and I went to see the newest Bruce Willis movie, Live Free Die Hard (i have seen all the other Die Hard movies and loved them!!). It was an awesome action movie!!! My Dad loved it and Reggie and I give it a thumbs up!!
It was fun going out with my parents (we have not done this for while). It reminded me of the times when i was young when my Dad would take me and my cousins to the .99 Sunday movies. We use to look forward to Sundays and boy, some of the movies we saw (yucko!!!). But I was with my cousins so it was fun!!! My Dad would have us "sneak" in pop and popcorn and well...good times!!!!

Harry and Hedgwig go to see the newest Harry Potter movie!!!

Harry Potter

Today we went to see the newest Harry Potter movie. Boo went to see it the night it came out (at midnight!!). This was her 2nd time. I must confess I was not real thrilled to see this one but boy was i glad i did! It was a real good movie! It received 3 thumbs up and one thumb down (Gigi). Bridgette has been trying to get me to read the books. I think I will put that on my 101 list of things to do...read all the books (now that the last one has been released). Bridgette and i were talking and remembering the first time i brought a Harry Potter book home. She had no idea who he was at the time (I had heard about the books from my boss at the time...Steve). Boo loved it so much and from that day she was hooked! Who knew.... *me...hehehehe*
