*update with pictures from my incredible bouquet of roses*

QVC!!!

Wow! Today is Craft Day on QVC! I started watching last night and wow!! They have some fun new stuff and I am having a blast shopping! I must admit, I was getting bored with QVC and put them on hold for several months. I think that was good because they seem to have so much and I am enjoying it! I have at least 9 more hours of this!!! Good Times!!!!

I did it!!! Today I posted my 100th layout in 2Peas!!! Wow!! I am so excited. It was the Quinceanera project I have been working on for months and months! I finally finished it!!! Wahoo for me!!!!
I have a goal of 200 layouts this year. I cannot wait until the day I post my 200th layout! Wow!!! I also have a goal of 10 "projects" this year. I know it sounds like a lot...but i know i can do this (i think!!??!!).

MONDAY....

What would you like to accomplish this month?
I would like to "finish" my blogging project. Have my parents and in-laws over for dinner (together). Finish 1-2 altered projects and 10-15 pages!

How would people who knew you in high school describe you?
Funny and loved to party!

What's your favorite meal of the day, and why?
I love breakfast (however, I rarely have it!!...interesting). I love the fact that it is usually done with my family and there are so many choice (omelets, sausage and eggs, juice, toast, pancakes...yummy!!).

I was listening to a radio station last night and they were speaking about marriage and what every woman should know before marriage (***I feel men should know these things also). I thought they were great things and one of them took me over 10 years to realize! Let me tell you once I realized it I (and my husband) were way happier!!!

1/ Make sure you have things in common. Sounds simple, right? Well...you both liking hamburgers and going to movies is not what they were speaking about (don't get me wrong, those are good things to have in common...food and entertainment) however, they were speaking about some "deeper" things. How about...politics, religious beliefs, and family values. I think things like travel, sports, books, music, how you want to spend your weekends should also have a little commonality to them. I mean, what if you want to travel the world and he did his traveling with his family and wants to stay home? This can cause a "bump" in your journey. The reason they were saying having things in common is important is because these things will help you through those "dry" spells in your relationship. Those times when you don"t have anything to say, you feel like there is a huge gap in the relationship, you can't stand the air he breathes (ohhh, you have never felt that way...lucky you!!). Those are the times when you can go grab a hamburger and watch the latest Star Wars movie (because you both LOVE Star Wars and have since the start). Those are the times you can look at each other and talk about the latest candidates running for President (O.K....so you will only speak once every four years...it is a start!!! smile). Yes, when you look across the table and think you don't have nothing to say, those are the times you can pull from those "common" things you shared and start a conversation! Yep, commonality's will help you in the years to come is you have them.

2/ You CANNOT change him!!! Wow!!! This is something i hope every person can understand and hold onto when they enter the "deeper" part of their relationship. This is vital to a marriage. VITAL!!! If you cannot accept him as he is you need to back up and look deep into yourself. Why can't you accept him for who he is? Why do you want to change him? I think if you look real deep you are going to find this issues are not with him but with you. We need to be able to look at our spouse and understand they are who they are and if they change it will be them wanting the change not us wanting it for them. We need to be o.k. with the fact he will always be tardy and will procrastinate on everything! I tell you, this is soooooo hard to do! Especially for those perfectionist out there. I think it is so important to understand and accept this before you get married. If you don't you will spend many frustrated years together and lot's of time will be wasted. Yes...you cannot change anyone and the sooner you realize that the happier you (and they) will be!

Funky Photo Friday...Sunsets

This is a picture taken while we were leaving Chicago on the first day.

This was taken on our way home (in Colorado). The first one is right at the Colorado border (can you see the sun peaking through the tree's). Both of these were in our van while hunny bunny was doing 80 mph!!

We were able to go to the Bronco's Training Camp today! None of us had ever been there so it was a real treat. Reggie LOVED it. I was able to take lot's of pictures and it was exciting to see the players scrimmage. Bridgette had a blast and even though it was hotter than hot we all had a good time. I could not believe the amount of fans that were there! WOW!!! And they all waited in line just like us to watch the Bronco's practice. What devotion!! Next time I want to try to get some autographs!!!

Today we went to the movies with my parents. The girls and my Mom went to see HairSpray. This will make the 2nd time for the girls (we all loved it the first time!). My Dad and I went to see the newest Bruce Willis movie, Live Free Die Hard (i have seen all the other Die Hard movies and loved them!!). It was an awesome action movie!!! My Dad loved it and Reggie and I give it a thumbs up!!
It was fun going out with my parents (we have not done this for while). It reminded me of the times when i was young when my Dad would take me and my cousins to the .99 Sunday movies. We use to look forward to Sundays and boy, some of the movies we saw (yucko!!!). But I was with my cousins so it was fun!!! My Dad would have us "sneak" in pop and popcorn and well...good times!!!!

Harry and Hedgwig go to see the newest Harry Potter movie!!!

Harry Potter

Today we went to see the newest Harry Potter movie. Boo went to see it the night it came out (at midnight!!). This was her 2nd time. I must confess I was not real thrilled to see this one but boy was i glad i did! It was a real good movie! It received 3 thumbs up and one thumb down (Gigi). Bridgette has been trying to get me to read the books. I think I will put that on my 101 list of things to do...read all the books (now that the last one has been released). Bridgette and i were talking and remembering the first time i brought a Harry Potter book home. She had no idea who he was at the time (I had heard about the books from my boss at the time...Steve). Boo loved it so much and from that day she was hooked! Who knew.... *me...hehehehe*

Were back....

Wow!! Time flies and when you are on vacation it soars!!! We had a wonderful week and though I am glad to be back I am also sad. *sigh*
We were able to cross off the Midwest states from our list (yippee) and the trip was not as boring as we thought it would be. We did some fun things and I took more than 2,000 pictures (yes I said 2,000). It's going to be awhile before i download d all of them but when I do I can start showing off our great trip. I can say we all LOVED Chicago! What an incredible city. Wow!!! My daughter loved it so much she started looking at graduate schools in that city!
I am going to take some more day off to relax before joining the real world. We have 1 more full week to see some movies, eat out (Mommy is not cooking all week!!!), and maybe see the Bronco's in training camp!!! Good Times!

I cannot believe how fast time has flown by! Wow! It seems like just yesterday was the first day of summer and this vacation seemed so far away!!! Now it is upon us and there is so much to do! I am excited about being off for 2 weeks however...I am finding it hard to get into this vacation. Maybe it is because I have not put lots planning into this one. Normally I have a n agenda and I know what we are doing every day and every hour. Not this time.... I think this is going to be one of those laid back vacations. I know my family will like this but me...well time will tell (smile!). Well...back to getting ready (*sigh*)

Pain and age!!!

Pain...i hate it!! I know everyone hates pain but darn! My knee has been hurting for a week and it is not getting any better. Reggie thinks it is because of all the cleaning I have been doing (I have also been changing furniture around and working in the patio...). I am not sure why it hurts, I only know it hurts and I am getting tired of it. I am not using Bengay at night (my poor bedroom smells like the stuff and it smells like a hospital when i go in there!!!). I am sooo getting frustrated with this and I can't help but think...is age playing a role in this???? How HORRIBLE!!!!!
One of the things I am not looking forward to is the "aches and pains" I hear about. It seems that when one gets over a certain age all we hear is about how there bodies are breaking down! It is kind of depressing.... What is that is me! What is I become that person who is always talking about bones creaking and stiff!! AAAGGGGGHHHHH!!! I am doing it right now!!!! VIOLATION!!! *sigh*

what kind of sundae am I?????

This was fun. I found this on a blog and thought I would try it.......

You Are a Meaty Sundae

Wacky, savory, and unconventional.
You're an "acquired taste"... no doubt about it!
