FUN THOUGHTS FOR 2008...

One habit you'd like to break totally: Drinking so much coke!!! I am a cokeaholic and I need help!!!
One person you'd like to get to know better: This sounds so odd but there are several family members I would like to get to know better this year. I am an introvert at heart so I don't "reach" out like I should. Hopefully 2008 will change that!
One random act of kindness that you'd like to make a habit this year: I hope to "interact" more...call, have people over, send a card or email...
Something that you'd like to own by the end of 2008: A wide angle lense (big money!!). It would be awesome when we travel!!!!
Something that you'd like to get rid of by the end of 2008: DEPT!!!! I would also like to get rid of some "issues" I have been lugging around.

Something that you'd like to improve on: Wow!!! I wold love to improve my people skills. People are important to me and I want to know how to relate better. This includes reaching out more.
Something you'd like to learn in 2008: Knitting (i know but one year i will!!) and beading.
Something you're looking forward to this year: My baby girl's school year. I a not sure how it will end but I am looking forward to her working her way through it and seeing the results and...she turns 18 this year and my other baby girl turns 21!!!

I love to buy fresh flowers and put them on my desk (bring Spring to work with me). I also have to buy some new flip flops and wear them!!!!

Easter! We love this holiday.

interseting...hmmm...no, we are like millions of other people, for Easter we have a family dinner, hunt for eggs, get Easter baskets and eat chocolate bunnies.

Soft pastel colors remind me of spring. Baby chicks and tulips always remind me of Spring.

Books currenlty reading

What's a book you are reading right now? anything?

I am reading at least 3 romance novels! I love love love reading them! I remember going to the library on the way home from high school and discovering them! I have been hooked since! LOVE them!

I also have a few "work" motivation and leadership books I am reading at work (not as fun and my other 3 but very insightful and helpful to me as a leader).

I will always have at least 2 books going at one time (i usually have one in the bathroom, my purse and living room!). There is nothing like a good book to pass a few minutes and what is a bubble bath without a book???

Tonight we stayed home and had some yummy beef stew! It was great to have something warm on such a cold and windy day. The stew made the house smell warm and cozy. We caught up on some of this weeks shows....



The Beauty and the Geek....this is the first season we watched this series and we (all) loved it! All of us we glad when Cece did not win. We loved her partner but if one had to judge which team made the biggest changes it would not have been Cece. It was a fun show and we can't wait for the next one...



American Idol...Wow! Hell week was just that...Hell Week! We were disappointed with some of the people who were not picked. And some of the ones they picked...hmmmmm. Interesting. Well...me and my girls are definitely cheering on the males! There seems to be many strong ones this year. I love the one with the curly hair and glasses! He is great!!! There are a few girls (3 tops) I liked. Well...time will tell.

He sent me a "care package" at work and everything was green (balloons, card, gift bag...) and he included a huge frog in the package! It was so sweet and it made my month!!!

(3) Worst Date — The time we were going to go out for some food (after church) and Reggie's brother invited a girl Reggie use to like (I was pissed!!!!)
